Teldio announces the 3.0 release of its Radio to Radio Recording application

Source: MCCResources

This release offers significant enhancements & additional features, most notably radio information tagging and user-friendly search navigation.

Teldio’s radio to radio recording solution (R2R) allows network administrators to record, log and playback group calls from the MOTOTRBO radio network. The recording and logging of conversations is automatic, completely seamless and unintrusive to radio users. The information transmitted between radio users can be valuable data for companies looking back on how past events, emergency situations, and even customer requests were handled.

According to Teldio, this application provides the necessary solution for businesses to increase operational accountability, minimize legal liabilities, improve training material, and re ne customer service.

The Key Features of the new release

Radio Information Tagging

If a MOTOTRBO radio is used as a control station, then Talkgroup & Radio IDs can be recorded along with the audio from the radio conversation.
By default, only Radio and Talkgroup IDs are displayed. However, Talkgroup and Radio IDs can be mapped to a name. The name will be used when displaying the recorded information. (Example: Talkgroup ID 43 = Security)
If a non-MOTOTRBO radio is used, audio will be recorded, but not tagged.

Searching

Search through all your recordings by simply selecting a Channel, Talkgroup and/or Radio ID.
Specify a start and end date to perform the search on.
Enter a specific Talkgroup or Radio ID if it is not in the list of available Contacts to search.

Audio Visualizer

During playback of the recorded file, see where the audio is in order to replay, skip over silence, etc.

Connect Plus Compatibility

Teldio’s R2R is now compatible with all Motorola MOTOTRBO™ portables and mobiles in Connect Plus, as well as Direct Mode, Repeater Mode, IP Site Connect, Capacity Plus, Linked Capacity Plus network modes.

Less Control Stations

In Simplex, Repeater and IP Site Connect modes, you no longer need a control station per Talkgroup! Provide just one control station per channel and you will be able to record all Talkgroup conversations on that channel.
