The new base station offers a thin 1U-mount, cost-effective radio equally suited to Tait DMR Tier 3 trunked networks as well as conventional DMR Tier 2 applications.

Global radio communications company Tait Communications has released a new slimline DMR base station: the Tait TB7300. The new base station offers a thin 1U-mount, cost-effective radio equally suited to Tait DMR Tier 3 trunked networks as well as conventional DMR Tier 2 applications.

The TB7300 offers exceptional receiver performance that matches or exceeds other DMR Tier 2 base stations on the market for sensitivity, selectivity and intermodulation performance. This means that customers get extended talk-in (uplink) range with significantly reduced risk of interference.

It's also a compact single unit, with all RF/processing elements contained within the case, which fits into a single 1U rack space (1.7 inches/44mm) in an industry-standard 19-inch-wide equipment rack. Thanks to superior engineering design and reduced componentry, the TB7300 is a lightweight unit easily handled by engineering staff and unobtrusive in customer locations.

Tait has positioned the TB7300 at an accessible price point, making it an ideal choice for customers starting a migration path from analog to DMR or for those already operating Tier 2 or 3 networks and looking to augment their base station capability.

Despite the small size and low price point, the TB7300 is still built to the same high quality standards as all Tait radio equipment, including its legendary Tait Tough portables.

The TB7300 is available now directly from Tait Communications or through partners worldwide.
