Rohill has been awarded by ARC to supply TETRA radio communication systems to Osasco Municipality in Brazil.

Rohill has been awarded by ARC to supply TETRA radio communication systems to Osasco Municipality. Osasco is a large municipality in São Paulo State, Brazil. With a population of around 700.000, Osasco is among the world's most dense cities, similar in density to Tokyo and New York City.

ARC is a Brazilian traffic engineering and system integrator company with more than 25 years experience in deploying, operating and maintaining traffic control systems, urban signaling and monitoring control centers for municipalities. ARC has developed a new public safety technology service platform called PROJETO SEG SIIM (Sistema Integrado de Inteligência para Municípios – Inteligent & Integrated System for Municipalities). This service platform provides an integrated solution for five services: CCTV, radio communication, traffic control, telemetry and electronic border control. These five services are integrated in one single operational software platform.

ARC selected Rohill TetraNode solution for their TETRA radio communication. The TetraNode solution will be integrated on the main platform to provide the critical communication, GPS and dispatch services.

Solange Almeida, Business Development Director for Rohill, comments: “We are pleased that ARC is convinced about Rohill’s TetraNode solution for its mission-critical communication needs. We are proud to strengthen our position in Brazil and we are convinced that we will contribute to a successful implementation as part of this innovative project of ARC.”
