Michael Piciorgros, CEO of Funk-Electronic Piciorgros: Being one of the smallest TETRA manufacturers, we are proud to receive this award and we know that the DVI-100 will make a difference.

Funk-Electronic Piciorgros won second place in the category Best TETRA Innovation at this year’s TETRA Awards, which took place at the Savoy in London March 16, 2012.??

With their DVI-100 and its outstanding features, Piciorgros impressed the judges and was highly commended for the award. The DVI-100 from Piciorgros GmbH allows for an easy and effective connection of different TETRA infrastructures regardless of manufacturer, frequency band or geographical location.
The device can be connected to a TETRA infrastructure without any loss of the excellent TETRA voice quality, since the voice is never turned into an analog signal and remains digital throughout the whole process.
The DVI-100 (Digital Voice Interface) is attached to a TETRA Network in the same way as a normal TETRA hand portable, and it can be a member of up to 25 groups.

These any many more features were the reason why Piciorgros GmbH won the award.

Michael Piciorgros, CEO of Funk-Electronic Piciorgros had the following comment on receiving the TETRA Award: “We are thrilled that our work and product were honored and recognized. Being one of the smallest TETRA manufacturers, we are proud to receive this award and we know that the DVI-100 will make a difference. It is an innovative product that is affordable, user-friendly and highly versatile and we are convinced that the DVI-100 will find its way into many TETRA infrastructures worldwide in the future.”
