Nokia, in collaboration with e& UAE, has announced a powerful lineup of industrial and mission-critical (communications) innovations at GITEX GLOBAL 2025, the world’s premier technology and innovation showcase. Presenting seven transformative solutions in Hall 22, the partnership demonstrates how advanced 5G and AI technologies are redefining real-time connectivity, automation, and operational resilience across key sectors.


Among the highlights is the joint launch of a Drone-as-a-Service platform, powered by e& UAE 5.5G network. This platform supports secure, automated beyond-visual-line-of-sight (BVLOS) operations, enabling new capabilities for public safety agencies, emergency services, energy operators, and industrial enterprises. With open APIs and native 5G integration, the solution supports diverse mission profiles, including surveillance, inspection, and disaster response.

  • Banshee Backpack Private 5G – A portable, multi-band mesh network designed for defence operations, featuring integration with a 5G-enabled robotic field companion.
  • Smart Port Solutions – Demonstrations of private 5G use cases unlocking enhanced port automation, logistics coordination, and operational efficiency.
  • Industrial Manufacturing Demo – Edge-powered remote monitoring, PLC control, and AI-based computer vision for factory optimisation.
  • Perimeter Network for Oil & Gas – A mobile 5G safety bubble integrating smart helmets and real-time site communication tools.
  • UTV-Mounted Perimeter Network – A public safety and defence configuration showcasing the world’s first 5G-enabled 360° surveillance camera.
