Federal Engineering, Inc. (FE) continues to expand its support of the public safety industry and professional organizations.

Mr. Ronald F. Bosco, President & CEO of FE said: “Federal Engineering has been consulting to first responders for almost four decades. Few consulting firms have the breadth of experience in technologies, methodologies, and personnel that our team possesses. We have always prided ourselves in ‘giving back’ to the industry and our client base by bringing our experiences and lessons learned to the organizations involved in setting the future direction of public safety communications and dispatch systems.”

Mr. Bosco continued: “FE consultants had previous careers as PSAP managers, law enforcement, fire, and EMS first responders, public safety radio engineers, and dispatchers. As a result of these backgrounds, they have a practical understanding of both the business and the technologies involved.

FE subject matter experts are members of and contributors to the following:

NG9-1-1 Data Flow NENA Working Group

  • Monitoring & Managing NG9-1-1 NENA Working Group
  • GIS Template NENA Working Group
  • 911ESInet-PSBN Interconnection NENA Working Group

  • NENA 911 Professional Education Working Group
  • IAED Police Council of Standards Group
  • NPSTC Interoperability Committee
  • APCO Spectrum & Technology Committee
  • Project 25 Technology Interest Group (PTIG)

We will continue to support these and other efforts to improve public safety services.”
