The City of Reno, Nevada has selected Federal Engineering, Inc. (FE) to provide a wide range of dispatch and public safety software consulting services in the areas of Computer Aided Dispatching (CAD), Records Management Systems (RMS), and Jail Management Systems (JMS).

Ms. Rishma Khimji, Director of Technology and Project Manager for the City stated: “Because we require services in three major technology areas, we went to great lengths to select the right consulting firm. In addition to technical skill sets, we wanted to make sure the consulting firm demonstrated the:

Ability, capacity, and skills to provide the services required within the time specified without delay

  • Character, integrity, reputation, judgment, experience, and efficiency
  • Quality of performance on previous contracts
  • Previous compliance with applicable laws
  • Financial responsibility to perform the services required
  • Quality, availability, and adaptability to meet our needs

Although we received multiple proposals, very few firms demonstrated the breadth of experience and technology as Federal Engineering. We are confident we made the right choice and look forward to working with FE throughout these projects.”
