Orion Labs, Inc., the leading voice-first, intelligent collaboration platform that empowers deskless workers, today announced Daniel de Mos has joined its executive team as Vice President of Finance to support the company as it scales to meet growing demand.

De Mos joins Orion with 15 years of financial leadership experience spanning multiple industries, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Omnivore Technologies. He held previous CFO roles at MyVest, Selling Simplified Group, and EnviroFinance Group LLC and has extensive experience leading technology companies through multiple stages and laying the foundation to support rapid growth.

Enterprise companies increasingly recognize how the deskless workforce needs access to powerful tools typically reserved for knowledge workers. Orion offers companies a voice-first, intelligent platform designed to digitally transform deskless worker communications with real-time team collaboration, process automation, location mapping, and access to enterprise systems to improve workforce productivity, safety and compliance, and customer engagement.

“It’s become clear during the COVID-19 pandemic that frontline and deskless workers keep our transportation and logistics supply chains operational, manufacturing lines running, businesses secure, hotels clean and safe, and much, much more,” said Gregory P. Taylor, Orion Chief Executive Officer. “Now is the right moment to add a proven finance leader who will ensure the company has a solid foundation as it scales to meet the increasing demand for Orion solutions. I am excited to welcome Daniel to the Orion team.”

De Mos brings critical experience to Orion as demand for its voice-first, intelligent collaboration platform grows and the company looks to serve its enterprise customers better. His hiring follows 4x ARR growth over the last year and a recently announced $29 million Series B funding round.

“Now more than ever, companies realize antiquated radios cannot meet the needs of a modern, deskless workforce. Just like office workers, deskless workers need new communications tools that allow teams to collaborate with ease and have real-time access to enterprise systems and data,” said Daniel de Mos, Orion Vice President of Finance. “Orion uniquely meets the needs of thousands of enterprises that rely on outmoded technology. I’m delighted to join this innovative organization looking to deliver the future of the connected worker.”
