The plans for the RCMP V Division Radio Modernization project are built around a high availability and fault tolerant P25 digital radio network solution.

InterTalk announced that it will be working as a subcontractor for the RCMP V Division Radio Modernization project. The project is for a new Association of Public Safety Communications Officials P25 mission critical Land Mobile Radio communications system.

The plans for the RCMP V Division Radio Modernization project are built around a high availability and fault tolerant P25 digital radio network solution, one that has seen deployments across both public safety and utilities sectors in Canada, the US and Australia.

The RCMP currently operates a radio system in the V Division that serves mission critical communication needs of RCMP members in 25 remote communities in Northern Canada. The new solution will provide RCMP in these communities seamless conventional P25 and trunked P25 talkgroup interoperability and cost-effective desktop operations consoles with integrated mapping.

InterTalk will be supporting Cartel Communication Systems on this project, while also working alongside Etherstack, TASC Systems and Eventide.

The companies have decades of combined experience in mission critical communications, and reporting and call logging expertise.
