Eylex Appointed Exclusive Invisio Distributor for Australia and New Zealand

Eylex has been appointed the exclusive in-country distributor in Australia and New Zealand for Invisio, the international provider of advanced communications and hearing protection systems. Under the agreement, Eylex's local distribution network will now carry Invisio's full range of tactical communications, hearing protection and systems integration solutions for the Defence and Public Safety sectors.

For Invisio customers in the region, the appointment means local access to in-country technical assistance, servicing, warranty support and systems integration through Eylex. Operational users will therefore be able to get specialist support without relying on overseas resources.

The agreement builds on a long relationship between the two organisations. Eylex has been the exclusive representative of Racal Acoustics in Australia and New Zealand since 2003, and Racal Acoustics is now part of the Invisio Group. The new appointment extends that relationship from a single brand to the Group's complete portfolio.

The appointment follows the acquisition of Eylex by GME, the Australian manufacturer of radio frequency (RF) communications technology products. The combined business brings together GME's more than 60 years of experience in communications technology and Eylex's long track record in mission-critical communications.

The agreement strengthens Invisio's presence in a region where Defence and Public Safety agencies are investing in connected, interoperable soldier and responder systems. In those programmes, how headsets and hearing protection integrate with radio platforms is becoming an increasingly important procurement consideration.
