Day Wireless Systems and Everest Infrastructure Partners Announce Strategic Tower Portfolio Swap, Expanding National Footprint
Day Wireless Systems, a leading provider of wireless communications solutions , and Everest Infrastructure Partners, a national owner and operator of wireless infrastructure, today announced the completion of a significant asset exchange agreement. The strategic transaction involves the swap of 47 wireless communication towers, substantially expanding the geographic footprint and asset base of both companies.
Under the terms of the agreement, Day Wireless Systems has acquired a portfolio of 22 towers from Everest, strategically located across the Pacific Northwest, including key sites in Oregon and Washington. This move significantly bolsters Day Wireless’s owned infrastructure in its primary market, enhancing its capacity to serve public safety, utility, and commercial wireless clients with critical network connectivity.
In exchange, Everest Infrastructure Partners has expanded its national presence by acquiring 25 towers from Day Wireless. These assets are situated across several states in the Southeast and Midwest, aligning with Everest’s strategy of building a diverse, nationwide portfolio of wireless infrastructure to support next-generation 5G and LTE deployments.
Industry analysts view this type of strategic swap as a efficient method for operators to optimize their portfolios by acquiring assets in core markets while divesting those in non-strategic regions. The transaction allows both Day Wireless and Everest to concentrate their resources and investment on high-growth areas, ultimately strengthening network reliability and capacity for end-users.
