Astronics Unveils New Land Mobile Radio Service Monitor
Astronics Corporation (Nasdaq: ATRO), a leading provider of advanced technologies for global aerospace, defense, and other mission critical industries, today announced the release of its latest solution for Land Mobile Radio testing and analysis: the ATS-9000M Communications System Analyzer. Building on the proven legacy of its predecessor, the R8200, this next-level service monitor retains all the trusted features users rely on while introducing significant new enhancements.
Equipped with a two-port, one-path Vector Network Analyzer (VNA), the ATS-9000M is a portable, all-in-one solution for both radio and infrastructure testing. This standard capability facilitates precise RF network measurements, such as Cable Loss and Insertion Loss, which are crucial for maintaining optimal network performance and reliability.
The analyzer features a vibrant 10.1" touch-screen display and an intuitive user interface built on an updated operating system, enhancing user experience and productivity. The ATS-9000M utilizes software-based instrumentation, allowing users to update software and download additional options without having to send the unit back to the factory. With support for all protocols, the system also delivers improved performance in its Spectrum Analyzer, FM, and P25 capabilities.
"As radio technology becomes more complex, we are proud to continue supporting all LMR users in their critical missions, building on our legacy of reliable, powerful test equipment with the ATS-9000M," commented Jim Mulato, President of Astronics Test Systems. "Our commitment to long-term support is ongoing as we also continue to invest in our AutoTune library. By expanding OEM radio model coverage, our goal is that any LMR radio can be easily analyzed with our equipment."
