PGE Group in Search for Support on LTE450 Network Infrastructure

Curated by: Gert Jan Wolf - Editor-in Chief for The Critical Communications Review

A public tender was released by PGE Group to build an LTE450 communications network. The order relates to the procurement of services for the upkeep and repair of radio transmitters as well as field maintenance (Field Maintenance) for the LTE450 network infrastructure, which is split among the several PGE Dystrybucja branches.

The building of the LTE450 network in Poland is one of the PGE Group's most significant investment projects, and this is another tender for it. A state-of-the-art communication network using LTE450 technology will boost the power grid's security, dependability, and speed up the process of eliminating failures—all of which will enhance the organization's overall performance.

The tender order is divided into two sections: the first deals with PGE Dystrybucja branches in Białystok, Warsaw, and Łódź purchasing LTE450 infrastructure maintenance services, while the second portion deals with PGE Dystrybucja branches in Zamość, Lublin, Skarżysko-Kamienna, and Rzeszów.
