Entropia to Invest in Data Centers and C-NoT

Source: MCCResources

COMBUS Technologies, the flagship of the Entropia ARC platform, has invested in its own data center and renames IoT into C-NoT.

This is the first data center to be built in the series of three in which all data centers are used as geographically redundant (fiber and microwave) links.  Each data center has a visualized highly redundant IT platform.

Investment in geographic redundancy has already occurred on the network in Belgium and after replacing the Dutch Tetra network from Motorola to the latest technology from Hytera, data security will have its turn. In the meantime, the first data center has become operational.

The Internet-of-Things will be C-NoT

Entropia also decided to convert the name IoT into C-NoT, the Critical Network-of-Thing as ComBus Technologies is now building a mission-critical international industrial Network-of-Things network. The difference between other networks such as Lo-Ra or Sigfox is that the Combus network uses secure licensed nationwide exclusive frequencies, like the Entropia platform. The ComBus netwerk is to be installed independently of the Entropia network. Meanwhile, a number of successful industrial proof-of-concept (POC) projects were completed successfully and teh company won a national tender on the basis of C-NoT.

The basic C-NoT concept from ComBus Technologies is now available in Belgium, the Netherlands and Britain. Beginning in 2017, the C-NoT standard is to be extended to all antennas.
