Etherstack CEO David Deacon said,

"Ryan joins Etherstack at an exciting point in the Company's development. Over many years we have built a strong global business based upon engineering excellence, innovation and trusted long-term customer relationships. As our business continues to grow, strengthening our executive leadership team is a natural and important step.

Ryan brings an outstanding combination of operational leadership, commercial execution and deep industry knowledge. His experience as Area Vice President for AT&T's FirstNet initiative provides valuable insight into one of the world's most significant mission critical broadband programmes, while his broader leadership career demonstrates an exceptional ability to lead organisations through growth, operational scale and customer-focused execution.

North America has historically been one of Etherstack's largest markets and we believe the Americas will remain one of our most significant long-term growth opportunities. Governments, public safety agencies and critical infrastructure operators are increasingly adopting standards-based broadband mission critical communications alongside existing Land Mobile Radio networks. Ryan's experience, industry relationships and operational leadership will be invaluable as we continue executing our strategy in these markets and around the globe.

Ryan is also recognised throughout our industry as an authentic and collaborative leader who understands the importance of customer relationships and delivering operational excellence. We are delighted to welcome him to Etherstack."

Mr Burchnell said the opportunity to join Etherstack represented an exciting new chapter both professionally and for the mission critical communications industry.

"Etherstack has earned a global reputation for technical innovation, engineering excellence and delivering open standards-based solutions to some of the world's most demanding communications users.

The convergence of broadband mission critical services with traditional Land Mobile Radio networks represents one of the most significant developments our industry has seen in decades. Etherstack is uniquely positioned through its technologies, customer relationships and technical expertise to help customers navigate that transition.

I am excited to join such a talented global team and look forward to working with David, the Board and colleagues across the Company to continue supporting our customers and building on Etherstack's strong momentum around the world."

Earlier in his career, Mr Burchnell held senior executive positions with AT&T supporting the development and deployment of FirstNet and other advanced public safety communications initiatives. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Partner for the Hughes Fire Equipment family of companies, where he led the organisation through a period of strategic growth and operational transformation.
