New Upgrade Kit Simplifies Vehicle Charging Cradle Replacement for TETRA Radio Transition
New vehicle charging cradle LHM600 upgrade kit for Motorola MXP600 radios available.
In Germany, numerous public safety organisations (BOS) are currently replacing their legacy TETRA MTP850 FuG radios with the new Motorola MXP600 TETRA devices. For a seamless transition, the corresponding charging cradles in emergency vehicles must also be replaced. This time-consuming installation process is now rendered unnecessary with the LHM600 upgrade kit. The new charging cradle can be fitted to the existing mounting bracket without tools and with just a few simple steps, eliminating the need to drill new holes or lay new cabling.

In addition to the considerable savings in time and cost achieved through the simple, tool-free installation, the charging cradle is distinguished by a particularly robust housing and gold-plated hyperboloid cage contacts, ensuring maximum contact reliability and long service life. Sophisticated guide and locking mechanisms further ensure a secure and precise fit for the radio. Care has been taken to ensure functionality is never compromised: the keypad, side buttons, and accessory port remain accessible while the radio is seated in the charging cradle.
A characteristic feature of the LHM600 upgrade kit, as with all of the manufacturer's vehicle charging cradles, is the distinctive lighting design featuring LED strips positioned on the right, left, and front sides, which indicate the current charge status of the radio's battery. The device also includes a positioning LED inside the charging cradle. This illumination makes it easy to locate the cradle and is particularly useful when installed in other dark areas of the vehicle interior.
