Midnight Blue to Deliver Red Team SIGINT Training at Black Hat USA 2026
Midnight Blue will present its specialist Red Team SIGINT training course at Black Hat USA 2026, covering practical SDR hacking techniques for mission-critical, automotive, aviation, and marine targets across two sessions in August.
Midnight Blue announced that the company will present its specialist training course — Red Team SIGINT: Practical SDR Hacking for Mission-Critical, Automotive, Aviation, and Marine Targets — at Black Hat USA 2026. The training is scheduled to run on two separate occasions: August 1–2 and August 3–4, offering participants flexibility in attendance.
The course guides students through the full SIGINT cycle, with a focus on practical RF spectrum reconnaissance. Participants will learn how to extract signal characteristics and apply both manual and automated techniques to fingerprint and classify Signals of Interest (SOIs) across a range of target environments.
The training also covers the Signals Metadata Format (SigMF), a standardised framework for uniform signals data exchange used in both SIGINT and Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) workflows.
Students will additionally gain hands-on experience building modular analysis pipelines using Python and GNU Radio.
