Versorger-Allianz 450 Beteiligungs GmbH & Co. KG has officially been named an authorized reseller of Cyrus Technology GmbH devices, underlining its commitment to secure communications across critical infrastructure sectors in Germany. This partnership marks a significant milestone in the ongoing digitalization and resilience of Germany’s energy and water supply networks.

Versorger-Allianz 450 represents a consortium of over 200 national companies from the energy and water supply and disposal industries.

Established as a formal association in 2019, the Alliance’s primary objective was to secure the expiring 450 MHz radio license during its reallocation by the Federal Network Agency. The aim: to implement a discrimination-free, national, and blackout-resistant radio network for utility providers and critical infrastructure. This effort succeeded in March 2021, when the license was awarded to a joint venture of the German utilities sector within 450Connect, with Versorger-Allianz 450 holding a 25 percent stake.

The Alliance’s supporters supply more than 50 percent of Germany’s population and operate over a third of the country’s territory with essential services including electricity, gas, water, heating, and wastewater management.

Yesterday, at the EUREF Campus in Düsseldorf, Versorger-Allianz 450 and Cyrus Technology GmbH formalized their collaboration. To launch the partnership, Versorger-Allianz 450 immediately ordered 1,000 rugged Cyrus end devices, purpose-built for the 450 MHz network.

This strategic step expands Versorger-Allianz 450’s portfolio with ready-to-use, fully network-compatible hardware solutions that are directly available, seamlessly integrated, and tailored to the needs of critical infrastructure.

Cyrus Technology, known for its German-engineered quality, joins Versorger-Allianz 450 in driving forward the secure digital transformation of the nation’s supply infrastructure. With the rollout now underway, both organizations reaffirm their shared commitment to resilient, reliable communications.
