Kontron Transportation Signs Major Contract with SNCF

The contract ensures the continued evolution of the mobile communication system to FRMCS.

Kontron Transportation announce that the company has signed a three-digit million euro contract with SNCF France (Société Nationale des Chemins de fer Français). This is a major milestone in their long-standing partnership with SNCF and reinforces Kontron's role as a trusted supplier in mission-critical communication systems.

The contract ensures the continued evolution of the mobile communication system to FRMCS, until approved for use on the customer networks and fully deployed. It also emphasizes the continued existence of a comprehensive core network as well as Kontron’s specially developed AI-powered knowledge base.
