Airbus, a leading solutions provider of mission- and business-critical radio communication technology for users in the civil and defence markets, will be showcasing its latest products at the Critical Communications MENA 2017 exhibition in Dubai from 25 to 26 September.

The company presents its latest modem solution which is part of an electronic verification system for border protection. This system, developed by the telecom company Atlas includes the new Airbus TW1m modem.

Airbus will also display the latest version of the mission-critical group communication application Tactilon Agnet, which enables police officers or firefighters to communicate securely and flexibly by LTE. The new version of Tactilon Agnet offers enhanced services, such as permanent geolocalisation, navigation, group positioning and user presence. Thanks to Tactilon Agnet, commanding officers can follow the status of situations on a smart device.

The Tactilon Dabat, a smart, strong and secure device, is the future device for the Middle East. It is the world’s first smartphone and full Tetra radio. Thanks to the Airbus SmarTWISP programme, more and more app developers register to provide secure applications for Android users in the public safety sector. Airbus will demonstrate the latest apps for the Tactilon Dabat on its booth in Dubai. The company will also showcase the virtualised Taira Tetra Server, a highly efficient, compact and economical solution based on IP technology which replaces conventional switches. Taira Tetra Server still provides the same high service availability as Airbus Tetra switches.
