General Dynamics LTE eNodeB Receives FCC Certification

General Dynamics Mission Systems now claims that it has the most robust, secure and mobile LTE device on the market.

The Fortress eNodeB (RN2404-2) has now been certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the United States. The certification enables the 2404 to operate in band 4, 7, 12/17 and 14 on commercial and private wireless networks in the U.S. According to General Dynamics, the eNodeB brings to reality a future where the ease and mobility of modern smartphone technology is available to a variety of end users including forces on the battlefield. Users  connected to Fortress 4G LTE networks via commercial phones have secure trusted access to the same mobile and streaming capabilities offered on domestic LTE networks.
