Kodiak, a leading provider of broadband push-to-talk (PTT) solutions, announced today that it will be demonstrating its solutions for LMR interoperability and workforce productivity application integration at IWCE 2017 in booth 2700.

Kodiak invites all wireless communications professionals to visit the show floor with a complimentary Exposition pass.

Demonstrations in the Kodiak booth will include:

  • LMR Interoperability - providing seamless communication between Broadband PTT users and those on LMR networks. Kodiak will highlight its different interoperability solutions as well the assistance Kodiak and its carrier partners can provide customers in designing and implementing the right solution for their needs.
  • PTT APIs (Application Programming Interface) – integrating instantaneous PTT communications with productivity applications to increase workforce efficiency and improve productivity. API Program Partners West Safety Services and Actsoft will showcase how business events can trigger PTT calls, automatically identifying the right person or group based with which to communicate.
  • Management – making it quick and easy to update contacts and groups, and manage mobile workforces. Visitors will see how CAT (Corporated Administration Tool) provides centralized management and over-the-air updates for contacts and groups, as well as how the Kodiak Dispatch solution utilizes Broadband PTT communications to monitor, record, and communicate with teams in the field.

“Kodiak has architected and developed its Broadband PTT solution based upon industry standards from the beginning, to align with the 3GPP Mission Critical PTT (MCPTT) functional architecture and information flows,” said Bruce Lawler, Chief Product Officer of Kodiak. “Our product will comply with the MCPTT Standard through carrier integration specifics and feature set as it expands to meet the needs of both public and private LMR users.”
