Potomac Spectrum Outlines Discussion Points at Critical LTE Communications Forum

Source: MCCResources

Brace Scapier President & Managing Member of Potomac Spectrum Partners today disclosed the discussion points of the presentation of the case study: National TETRA Network for Voice, Data and IoT (Interoperable with existing infrastructures).

At the event and during the Photomac Spectrum case study presentation, participants will be able to learn more about the details of Potomac Spectrum Partners’ innovative nationwide network which will deliver mission-critical voice, data and IoT applications — including a bridge to LTE.

Attendees will learn more about the software solution integrating LTE systems to TETRA as well as the plan to support data and low power IoT services in the critical communications network.

  • Is this a bridge to FirstNet?
  • Is this an example of an incremental transition from Digital Mobile Radio to a future network based on LTE?

Key points of the presentation will be:

  • A universal gateway with effectively total coverage (not soley dependent on terrestrial sites) therefore bringing the FN mandate to the marketplace to assist, not replace other systems.
  • No more defacto sole providers or single solution.
  • It is now possible thru extant technologies, both in hardware and software to close the gap of disparate solutions without requiring decommissioning existing networks.
  • The sum being fully inter operable systems independent of source or purpose.
  • It is truly disruptive in the most positive sense, all the while allowing for the use and preservation of systems already built and paid for.
