At APCO 2016, Kodiak will not only show strong prescence during the workshop sessions. Kodiak's products and solutions will also be on show during the exhibition through Kodiak's Broadband PTT Partners.

APCO brings together all the key players in the public safety communications industry. More than 2,500 attendees come from across the globe to meet with vendors, research new products, test out equipment first hand and discover emerging technologies.

During this year's event, Kodiak PTT, technology partner of the biggest wireless carriers in North America, Latin America and Europe, offering an alternative approach to push-to-talk solutions, puts its thought leadership into practice.

Workshops and presentations

On Monday 15 August, Kodiak's partner AT&T will present information about Push-to-Talk over 4G, LTE and Wi-Fi as it applies to public safety communications. Only a few hours later Kodiak, Mike Barney wil talk about "Providing Holistic Public Safety Communications". This workshop explores how social media in the PSAP can be incorporated into a holistic communications solution to provide first responders with secure, integrated multimedia communications.

On Wednesday 17 August Kodiak will participate in the morning session: "LMR and LTE Interoperability – The Future of Public Safety Communications". During this session visitors can learn about trends to integrate your mobile computing platforms into their LMR network to create optimum communications across field resources while reducing TCO.

Later that day Kodiak, Mike Doerk talks about the risks and benefits of integrated situational awareness, advanced voice communications, data mining, and other tools that help reduce cost and increase efficiency for public safety.
