Brazilian Army, Motorola to expand LTE trials to Rio
The Brazilian Army has announced the extension of LTE trials in the 700 MHz band to Rio de Janeiro, reports Teletime
The trial, which began in May 2012 at four sites in Brasilia, is conducted in partnership with Motorola Solutions. A new site will be installed on Duque de Caxias Palace and will cover the area of the Maracana stadium. It can also be moved if needed by the military to the Complexo da Mare region. There will also be a secure link connecting Brasilia and Rio de Janeiro.
