DSB Cancels Nødnett Days 2020
DSB today announced that they have decided to cancel Nødnettdagene 2020 (Nødnett Days 2020) due to the corona-virus (Covid 19) and the uncertainty regarding the development of the situation.
This latest status update has been sent directly to all registered participants, exhibitors and other contributors.
The purpose of Nødnettdagene 2020 was to bring emergency preparedness actors together for exchange of experience, ideas and knowledge on critical communications. DSB said, it does not want to expose those people to the risk of contamination that this kind of gathering of people entail.
Although DSB regrets having to cancel the conference, they see it as a necessary measure to prevent the spreading of the virus and to reduce the pressure on the health services and other actors who experience extra stress as a result of the pandemic.
