TCCA has launched this year’s International Critical Communications Awards (ICCAs), running alongside the online Critical Communications Week event in November.

The ICCAs are the most prestigious awards in the critical communications sector. As in previous years, they will celebrate excellence and expertise, while also recognising the success of products and organisations which have pushed boundaries in the field.

The awards this year will focus on the use of critical communications within specific operational environments. These include public safety, transport, utilities, and as part of a major event.

Speaking of the importance of the ICCAs, TCCA chief executive Tony Gray said: “These are challenging times for everyone, but the work of the critical communications sector continues. We are delighted that the ICCAs are going ahead this year to recognise that work. “With online presentations to our expert judges during CCWeek, the new format will allow a wider audience. I would ask people to please take the time to enter and showcase your project and expertise to the industry.”

Chair of the judges Robin Davis said: “As ever, the entries we’re receiving for this year’s awards have been of an incredibly high standard, showcasing innovation across the sector. It has not been an easy year for anyone, but as the ICCAs will demonstrate, our sector has stepped up to the plate time and time again.”
