This is the sixth straight year that the award ceremony has adopted Hytera solution since their first collaboration in 2014.

Hytera secured the 38th Hong Kong Film Awards, an annual film ceremony on April 14th held in Hong Kong, with its DMR radio solution including PD7 series radios and RD98XS repeaters as event official communication supplier. This is the sixth straight year that the award ceremony has adopted Hytera solution since their first collaboration in 2014.

PD7 series, Hytera's professional digital two-way radios, allowing the staff of Hong Kong Film Awards to communicate smoothly under noisy environment, especially during the red carpet period. PD7 series supported various voice call types, and with a built-in 1W speaker, it ensured clear and crisp voice communication on-site operation for the Awards.

Compared with a traditional analog radio, PD7 series radios can obtain an extra 40% operation time, guaranteeing staff members unimpeded communications throughout the event.

The RD98XS repeaters installed at the hotel where artist stay provided optimal coverage, and the PD7 used by receptionists and bodyguards also provided security connections for guests invited to the Awards.

“We are happy to witness the vigorous development of the Chinese film industry through our partnership with HKFA in past years, and we look forward to more in-depth cooperation in the future," said Jeff Lau, Regional Sales Manager of Hytera.
