Successful JVCKenwood Partner Meeting 2015 in Vilnius, Lithuania

Distributors were invited to visit the headquarters of the Rescue Service in Vilnius which, like the rest of the country uses an innovative solution based on Kenwood NEXEDGE.

On 19-21 October a partner meeting of key EMEA JVC Kenwood distributors was held in Vilnus. The purpose of the meeting was to present the main long-term trends in business development and technical training on the second generation NEXEDGE, DMR and dPMR systems.

During the event, new radio communications system were presented, such as NEXEDGE Second Generation, the NEXEDGE NX-5000 radio series, NEXEDGE Trunking D, new radios for Low Tier DMR and the possibility of creating a conventional IP network in the DMR standard.

Distributors also visited the headquarters of the Rescue Service in Vilnius which, like the rest of the country uses an innovative solution based on Kenwood NEXEDGE. The system made it possible to optimize the work of regional rescue teams so that ambulances arrive faster in case of an emergency.

The network covers over 90% of Lithuania. Currently, the system contains nearly 90 NEXEDGE trunked zones and operates more than 1,000 hand-held and mobile radios. It is the largest Kenwood digital system in Europe. Origional text
