Tait Radio Communications Solutions Marketing Manager Monique Princen will speak about the role of effective network management in achieving streamlined and cost-effective migration at the upcoming 2011 RadioComms Connect conference and expo in Melbourne, 16th-17th November.

“Organizations planning for migration want to know what they have now, properly specify what they need to replace it with and then deploy it in a controlled way. Monitoring and management of the network can assist with inventory and visibility during the migration phase, while remote programming can help to reduce costs for organizations,” says Monique.

On Thursday 17th, Monique will also chair a panel of DMR Association members who will present the latest information on DMR, where it is being deployed, as well as a comparison with dPMR technology.

Visit stands 24 and 25 during the expo to preview Tait’s DMR Tier III solution and learn more about its products and services for utilities, public safety and government agencies.

Tait Solutions Marketing Manager Russell Watson will take part in another panel discussion with representatives from Australia’s P25 industry to discuss key issues surrounding P25 technology in Australia today.

Brought together by their joint participation in the P25 Solution Centre, panel representatives from Australia’s P25 industry, equipment manufacturers and suppliers will discuss interoperability, open standards, ISSI and CSSI, and other key topics surrounding P25 technology.
