Motorola Solutions and Milsoft DisSPatch worked closely together and provided the connectivity needed to create reliable communication, provide real-time location data that allows dispatchers to manage crews and enhance employee safety.

In order to meet the requirements of the FCC’s narrowbanding mandate, many companies are looking to implement new technologies that improve efficiency, worker safety and communication. Ohio Utility Hancock-Wood Electric Cooperative needed a communication system that would be FCC-compliant while providing clear audio from anywhere in its coverage area. Additionally, it needed a solution that would enable it to track its mobile line workers and trucks for even greater efficiency.

The company recently met this call by deploying Motorola Solutions MOTOTRBO professional two-way radios with IP Site Connect. Motorola Solutions and Milsoft DisSPatch worked closely together to meet these requirements and provide the connectivity needed to create reliable communication, provide real-time location data that allows dispatchers to manage crews and enhance employee safety.
