Caltta's DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) trunking system offered stable and reliable communication through a total of 54 base stations that were strategically deployed across the competition venues.

Caltta Technologies, a leading provider of integrated professional PMR communications solutions, in collaboration with China Mobile, the largest Mobile Network Operator (MNO) in China, played a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the 19th Asian Games held in Hangzhou in October.

The Hangzhou Asian Games witnessed a remarkable achievement, with a total of 482 gold medals awarded, and an impressive tally of 15 world records, 37 Asian records, and 170 Asian Games records broken. As a crucial player in the event's communication infrastructure, Caltta delivered a seamless communication network, outstanding product quality, and expert technical support to guarantee the event's success.

The 19th Asian Games featured a diverse array of competition venues, each with distinct characteristics and communication requirements. The scale of these stadiums and the events they hosted posed unique challenges. To meet the communication needs of competition organizers and venue dispatching, while addressing special scenarios like maritime and water surface events, it was imperative to equip staff with user-friendly radios for instant communications.

Caltta provided an exclusive and reliable solution for this grand event. Caltta's DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) trunking system offered stable and reliable communication. A total of 54 base stations were strategically deployed across the competition venues. These base stations operated independently and each serving its designated venue. Caltta customized the frequencies for these stations to ensure the flexibility and convenience in meeting the communication requirements of all 54 venues.

Over 3,000 digital radios were employed to facilitate efficient and precise command and dispatch operations. Caltta's flagship model, the PH790 DMR portable radio, was selected to meet diverse operational needs. The PH790 radio boasts a stable signal, compact and lightweight build, and extended battery life. Equipped with a 2-inch semi-transparent screen and a full digital keypad, it offers onsite stuff with user-friendly operation. With IP68 protection and adherence to MIL-STD-810H standards, it performs reliably in challenging environments, ensuring the accurate transmission and swift response of critical information, thereby meeting the specific demands of the Asian Games Organizing Committee.

“Caltta was committed to ensure flawless communication which was evident from the test events preceding the Asian Games in late March. We assembled a dedicated technical support team that provided unwavering support throughout the event, from the official competitions to the torch relay and the opening and closing ceremonies. “Addressed by Leo Li, Sales Director of Caltta Overseas. “Our technical support team consistently delivered high-quality and efficient communication support, resulting in a 100% successful call connection rate during the entire Asian Games.”

The successful conclusion of the Hangzhou Asian Games marks yet another triumph for Caltta, following its role in securing the Beijing Winter Olympics. Looking ahead, Caltta remains committed to leveraging its expertise in PMR technologies, products, and services to continue providing high-quality communication solutions for international major events and activities.
