ACMOSS Showcases the Future Radio Network to Local Leaders at SMCL 2025
These direct exchanges are essential for supporting local authorities and understanding their needs regarding security and crisis management.
The French Operational Mobile Communications Agency for Security and Emergency Services (ACMOSS) took part in the 2025 Mayors and Local Authorities Exhibition, a key event for elected officials and territorial stakeholders committed to modernizing public services.
ACMOSS’ presence made it possible to meet with local elected officials and gather their feedback on the deployment of the Future Radio Network (RRF) in their regions. These direct exchanges are essential for supporting local authorities and understanding their needs regarding security and crisis management.
The exhibition also provided an opportunity to introduce the RRF to additional local authorities. Discussions highlighted the many advantages of this network in strengthening the effectiveness of critical communications for security, emergency, and healthcare services. Thanks to its performance and interoperability, the RRF is gradually establishing itself as a strategic tool for improving coordination during operations.
The Future Radio Network is particularly valuable for managing local crises. When a Municipal Safeguard Plan (PCS) is activated, mayors can rely on an interoperable tool that ensures smooth communication between the various response units. This ability to share information rapidly directly contributes to greater operational efficiency in the service of public safety.
Finally, Guillaume Lambert, Director of ACMOSS, together with partner Bouygues Telecom, reiterated the advantages of the Future Radio Network, including Rapid Response Solutions (SRR) that can be deployed in under six hours, and the opening of the 4G/5G RAN ensuring prioritized and secure connectivity. He also highlighted the ATRIA application, which can select the best available network to ensure reliable communications — a crucial capability for maintaining operational continuity during emergencies.
