Telox has announced that its TE320 and TE320K push-to-talk smart terminals have been upgraded to the Android 10 operating system and have received IP68 certification, the company confirmed via its official channels. The update strengthens the devices' positioning in the rugged PTT-over-cellular segment used by public safety, transport, and industrial customers worldwide.

The Android 10 upgrade brings faster processing, enhanced security features, and a smoother interface aimed at improving multi-tasking for field users. The new IP68 rating raises the terminals' environmental resilience, providing protection against dust ingress and continuous immersion in water, positioning the devices for deployment in demanding operational environments.

Telox said the enhancements reflect its ongoing commitment to delivering reliable, mission-critical communication tools. The upgraded TE320/TE320K is now available to existing and prospective customers seeking a smarter, tougher, and more dependable PTT smart terminal for critical communications applications.
