SmartViser and ACMOSS Partnership Enters new Phase

Curated by: Gert Jan Wolf - Editor-in Chief for The Critical Communications Review

SmartViser, a major player in innovation for automated test and monitoring solutions on public, private and critical mobile networks, today announces the extension of its collaboration with the Agency for Operational Mobile Safety and Emergency Communications (ACMOSS).

Following the initial collaboration announced in 2024, during which ACMOSS adopted SmartViser’s test automation solution to evaluate key performance indicators of a critical network as part of the deployment of the Future Radio Network (RRF), the partnership enters a new phase.

As part of this strengthened partnership, ACMOSS deploys SmartViser’s network monitoring solutions using handsets identical to those of RRF subscribers. These solutions provide continuous, end-to-end visibility of network performance under real operational conditions. This approach ensures precise measurement of user experience and critical services, regardless of location and network environment.

By leveraging these operational devices for continuous monitoring, ACMOSS reaffirms its commitment to placing network quality, reliability and resilience at the forefront. This solution provides ACMOSS with the systems and tools necessary to proactively detect issues, validate service levels and ensure consistent performance for the critical communications used by emergency and security services.

“This new step in our collaboration demonstrates a shared commitment to operational excellence and continuous quality assurance of critical communications,” says Gilles Ricordel, CEO of SmartViser. “By combining automated testing and network monitoring on real devices, ACMOSS benefits from a comprehensive and scalable solution to support the RRF and tomorrow’s communication services.”

This strengthened partnership underlines ACMOSS’s strategic direction as a major operator of critical mobile communications by leveraging continuous monitoring capabilities, real-condition performance validation, and the ability to meet the changing requirements of critical communications in France.
