Audax Achieves Re-Accreditation to the Good Business Charter

Curated by: Gert Jan Wolf - Editor-in Chief for The Critical Communications Review

Audax, a pioneer in Body Worn Video (BWV) technology, is pleased to announce that it has been re-accredited to the Good Business Charter (GBC), an organization whose mission is to improve business conduct with regard to its suppliers, customers, employees, the environment, taxation, and taxation.

The Good Business Charter is an international charter that organizations in the United Kingdom can affix their signature to, endorsing responsible business practices. It is open to companies spanning various industries and sectors. The assessment evaluates conduct across ten distinct elements, namely: adherence to ethical procurement practices, provision of fair wages and contracts, employee well-being and representation, diversity and inclusion initiatives, environmental responsibility, fair tax payment, customer commitment, and timely payment.

During an era when individuals are increasingly concerned with the companies they do business with and the vendors they support, the Good Business Charter provides a clear and concise accreditation that acknowledges organizations that demonstrate concern and prioritization for their employees, the environment, customers, and suppliers, in addition to adhering to tax regulations in a moral manner.

Managing Director of Audax Adam Liardet, said:

“As Audax® were worldwide Pioneers in Body Worn Video (BWV) technology, we are also proud to be one of the first businesses that adopted the Good Business Charter some 4 years ago. Providing award winning products is one thing, but having recognition for how we conduct ourselves as a business is of particular importance to Audax. Every responsible organisation should aspire to reach the highest possible standards in the way they conduct themselves. Being able to publicly prove and advertise a commitment to achieving and supporting the 10 components that make up The Good Business Charter we hope encourages and inspires other businesses to follow suit”.
