Frequentis Expert Charlotte Rösener appointed as President of the PSCE

Public Safety Communication Europe (PSCE) Forum has announced Charlotte Rösener, Head of Frequentis Mission-Critical Broadband Services, as new President for the duration of one year.

Charlotte joined PSCE as chair of Industry Committee and one of the four Board Members in 2021, recently covering the role of Vice President and Treasurer, actively contributing to the activities of the organisation.

‘’It is a great honour and equally a pleasure to take on the presidency for the coming months. In recent years, the need for effective communication systems – especially for mission-critical communications – has become greater than ever. We can look back at these as times where PSCE has become a voice that is heard and respected in Europe, and it is my duty and my ambition to continue and emphasise this during my presidency,’’ says Charlotte, Head of Mission-Critical Services at Frequentis AG.

The PSCE Forum is a non-profit organisation in the field of communication technologies for public authorities and blue-light organisations (police, fire, and rescue). As a European platform, PSCE brings together research, industry, and users to harmonise public safety requirements and promote the development of communication and information management systems.

Charlotte will be taking over as president from Uwe Kippnich, Bavarian Red Cross. Other members of the PSCE Board include David Lund of SafeNetics as Treasurer and Mario Drobics of AIT as Relation and Communication Officer.

Charlotte Rösener (PhD) graduated from the Vienna University of Technology and Keio University in Japan and has an extensive scientific background as well as 16 years in technology development, 12 of which in the safety-critical area. In 2013, she joined Frequentis as Development Project Manager, soon after becoming Product Manager for safety-critical communication applications in the field of Public Safety. Since 2018, Charlotte Rösener is in New Business Development at Frequentis, and is Head of Mission-Critical Services since 2022, a department that focusses on the innovative topic of mission- critical broadband communications. She is also actively involved in various TCCA and GCF working groups.
