Israeli Aerospace and Defence Partner Extends Filtronic’s Reach

Filtronic plc (AIM: FTC), the designer and manufacturer of RF-to-mmWave components and subsystems, today announced that it has signed a sales representative agreement with Ormic Components of Israel.

Ormic has a proven track record of selling high-performance mission critical equipment to the Israeli aerospace and defence industry, as well as to other critical communication sectors including telecommunications. Founded in 1997, Ormic has a solid client base and is a trusted source for RF/microwave modules, including front ends, amplifiers, and transceivers.

Filtronic offers a class-leading range of amplifiers, transceivers, waveguides, and filters, and its capabilities across the entire RF spectrum, including mmWave, are complementary to Ormic's client base and technology portfolio. Filtronic’s proven capability to develop high-performance custom solutions for complex RF problems gives Ormic a clear advantage in extending its homeland security business, and will help it further enhance its position within Israel’s aerospace, defence, and telecom industries.
