Radiocommunications resources are critical for coordinating actions in the field during times of disaster. In this context, INSTAVOX decided to donate its LTE radio communication equipment to the RED CROSS for the reception of Ukrainian migrants in Germany.

In order to manage this big-scale catastrophe, the RED CROSS teams must be able to disseminate information quickly among a huge number of volunteers distributed across the country. To assist these operations, INSTAVOX responded by permitting the deployment of their 4G LTE radiocommunication solution in one day. Now, each rescuer is equipped with an LTE radio and a European SIM card, allowing him to communicate instantaneously and exchange information with all other users by simply pressing a button.

The command center has an INSTAVOX console to control the complete LTE radio fleet and communications. The RED CROSS teams can not only geolocate each user, but they can also change and form distant communication groups, allowing them to quickly react to unusual circumstances.

INSTAVOX has also made several accounts available for installation on ANDROID smartphones, allowing the number of users to be increased on a regular basis and reacting to changing circumstances more readily.
