MCA announced that Andy Koehler, an Account Executive with Mobile Communications America, will present at the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE) 2022. IWCE will take place in Las Vegas from March 21 to March 24.

Koehler, a member of the DAS/BDA Business Unit, will present on Wednesday, March 23 about in-building wireless public-safety communications. The title of the presentation is “Want to Increase In-Building Wireless Market Share? Change the Go-to-Market Paradigm.”

The paradigm alludes to one that Andy and co-presenters say needs to be shifted regarding in-building wireless public-safety communications. The paradigm shift is needed to increase the number of buildings in which first responders can communicate during an emergency and accelerate the rate at which buildings are addressed.

Andy, along with JP Plouffe (Public Safety BDA Sales Leader, Fire Americas, Honeywell, Honeywell) and John Foley (Managing Director, Safer Buildings Coalition) will discuss where we are and how we can leverage the significant experience and skill sets of each sector so we can scale up to meet the challenge.

The presentation will take place at 10:15 am on March 23. Overall, more than 300 speakers are slated to share their expertise on a wide range of topics related to the critical communications industry.

More than 300 exhibitors will be at IWCE, which holds the distinction as the premier event for critical communications professionals for the past 45 years. More than 5,000 critical communications professionals from around the world come to IWCE to network and learn. They hail from the government, public safety, utilities, transportation, professional services and the dealer community.
