Sigma Wireless Serves Irish Aviation Authority with Transmistters from SAIT Belgium

Sigma Wireless have recently installed and commissioned four 5KW MF/HF transmitters for the Irish Aviation Authority.

The transmitters are the CST3005 models manufactured by SAIT in Belgium. The transmitters are a compact, modular next generation unit offering both voice and data capability.

These transmitters are now carrying the live, Shannon Volmet service which provides 24 hour weather forecast services on the HF band to aircraft operating in the North Atlantic Oceanic airspace.
