Icom Announces Firmware Upgrade for the IC-M94DE Marine VHF/DSC Radio

Icom UK makes customers aware of a firmware upgrade for those who have recently purchased the IC-M94DE marine VHF/DSC radio. The firmware upgrade will improve battery efficiency within the radio, therefore improving its overall performance. 

The firmware reflash will need to be done at an Icom service dealer or at Icom UK and should be done if the radio was bought after June 2021 and has a serial number between 16001201 and 16001897. Earlier or later radios are not affected by this firmware upgrade.
