Conway’s first responders are getting a major boost in their wireless communications thanks to the  FirstNet network expansion currently underway by AT&T. FirstNet has added a new,  purpose-built cell site  located in Center Conway. This new site is giving first responders on FirstNet – America’s public safety network – access to always-on, 24-hours-a-day priority and preemption across voice and data.

State Senator Jeb Bradley, Senate Majority Leader, District 3 - “Improving communications and broadband connectivity for my constituents and the residents of New Hampshire’s rural communities has been a major goal during my time in the Senate. AT&T is making investments through FirstNet to develop and upgrade wireless services in parts of the state that desperately need it. Not only will FirstNet improve the safety and communications for first responders, but it will enhance the overall user experience, which helps our economy. I’m pleased that Conway will be the most recent beneficiary of these network upgrades.”

Joseph D. Kenney, Executive Councilor District 1  - "I support the efforts of AT&T and the state of New Hampshire for bringing FirstNet to the Mountain Washington Valley. FirstNet is an important interoperability communication tool for our real-world heroes, our first responders. Nothing is more important to me than to see that our men and women who act as our first responders get the best communication system to carry out their performance in the name of public safety."
