Amphenol Procom develops ultra compact Hybrid Combiner for SCADA network in Spain

In collaboration with their Spanish distributor, Artsys Telecom, Amphenol Procom have designed a super compact 3 channel 50 W hybrid combiner (PRO-COM150-HDAR-SP32).

Due to a very little rack space available for the customer, the requirement was to build a special ultra-compact combiner fitting into a 19” rack and just 400 mm in depth, that works without a duplexer. This means separated Tx and Rx antenna ports, a built-in Power Monitor and a combiner capable of managing up to 50 W per channel. This was even achieved with a just 3 HU (133,4 cm) solution.

In addition to this, the company have also supplied various products for this project like Omni and Yagi antennas as well as passive components, such as Cavity Combiners, Duplex Filters and Isolators.
