Drakontas, a leading provider of a command and control platform that offers team collaboration tools, and RapidSOS, the emergency technology company that connects millions of devices to over 4,700 Emergency Communications Centers, announced a partnership today to provide public safety agencies that use the incident management platform, DragonForce, with accurate location and additional data from the RapidSOS emergency response data platform.

Built-in partnership with public safety, RapidSOS’ emergency response data platform securely and automatically links life-saving data from connected devices, apps, and profiles directly to 911 and first responders in an emergency. When a 911 call comes in, DragonForce can now query the RapidSOS platform to display available caller location and additional data, such as opt-in medical information, telematics, alarm sensor data, and more.

DragonForce embeds RapidSOS web-based tool, RapidSOS Portal, to query a caller’s location and access supplemental data upon receiving a 911 call. With this information, dynamic groups can be assigned to handle the type of incident identified. The information from the RapidSOS Portal is seamlessly integrated with DragonForce’s real-time personnel tracking, tactical whiteboarding, and shared situational reporting capabilities. This streamlines the workflow to identify and assign the appropriate resources to respond to incidents of any type or size. DragonForce provides the “common operating picture” that field responders and key decision-makers need to connect, collaborate, and control any incident.

“With the ability to quickly project critical 911 information into the field, the RapidSOS and DragonForce integrated solution will ensure the fastest most effective response,” said James Sim, Drakontas’ CEO. “We are proud to be working with a company like RapidSOS that brings transformational technology to 911 and first responders.”

Karin Marquez, RapidSOS’ Senior Director of Public Safety, said, “We are excited to work with Drakontas to enhance the response process through their command and control platform. With our partnership, we can bring richer data to public safety agencies using DragonForce, help 911 telecommunicators dispatch the right resources faster, and provide first responders with enhanced situational awareness.”
