Provider of emergency communication systems Valcom purchases Keltron to enhance life safety event management solutions

Valcom, Inc., a leading provider of emergency communication systems have acquired Keltron, a leading provider of life safety event management systems. It is expected that both companies will operate separately, sharing technology, experience and engineering to expand individual solutions and provide customers with combined technologies. The acquisition provides Keltron the resources to accelerate development of next generation IP and other communication solutions for fire, security, emergency communications and life safety in its markets of education, healthcare, industrial, commercial, government and military multi-building facilities.
