Macau police to use 300 more body cams in Q2 2019

Recently the Macau Post Daily announced that the Macau police have purchased an additional 300 body-worn cameras for their officers and they will come into use in Q2 2019. This was stated by the Public Security Police (PSP) in a statement. The statement noted that 100 body cams first came into use for PSP officers carrying out duties on the peninsula in March last year on a trial basis. The statement also said that PSP officers have activated their body cams on 21 occasions since March last year, primarily for tackling disputes among people.
