Source: MCCResources

In March 2015, eurofunk was commissioned to modernize Austria's Innviertel regios PSAP and to integrate the new technology to a common central station network, operated by the Austrian Red Cross.

In addition, all communication technology has been upgraded. By using the IDDS Voip communication platform UCiP, a second communication network has successfully been realized. From now on, all locations of the Austrian Red Cross Upper Austria will be able to act associated, by using both incident- and communication network.

After implementing the central network technology in Linz in March 2014, two rescue coordination centers in Steyr and Wels have been successfully linked to the central control center. Finally, RLS Innviertel now represents the third location of the Red Cross Upper Austria network.

The control centre is operated in the new premises of the RLS Innkreis at Ried im Innkreis. All renovations, implementation and service were done during continuing operations without interference. Just in time, with 01th of March 2016 the PSAP Innviertel went into operation.
