Avtec, a leading provider of Radio over IP (RoIP) dispatch console systems, announces it has partnered with Tallysman Wireless, a leading applications developer for digital mobile radio systems, to combine voice, messaging, mapping, and resource management solutions for dispatch operations.
Consolidated voice dispatch and resource management solutions help organizations and agencies improve response times, safety and operational efficiencies. Scout console users are now able to view location, status, and performance information directly from their console screens. Dispatchers can also send text and email messages to and receive messages from individual radios or talk groups via the Scout IP console system.
The expanded capabilities are available to users of MOTOTRBO™, DMR, NEXEDGE™, and Project 25 (P25) networks. This solution was developed to satisfy market demand where enhanced dispatch and resource management resources are required, such as business and industry, utility, transportation, and public safety sectors.
"The Avtec/Tallysman solution combines the strengths of two separate offerings into a solution that is simple to install, easy to use, and keeps pace with our customers' demanding work environments," said Michael Ridge, Avtec director of partnerships and alliances.
John Seymour, director of data products for Tallysman Wireless, said: "Partnering Tallysman's automatic vehicle location system with Avtec's dispatch console solutions provides enterprise organizations with a best-in-class integrated communication and tracking package from a single source."
