Omnitronics to Introduce Advanced Location Services
Omnitronics, this week, announced the release of Advanced Location Services – A powerful new add-on to RediTALK and Alto dispatch consoles.
Advanced Location Services enables dispatchers to have full location visibility of users on their radio network as well as the ability to call or message the radio user directly from the mapping screen.
Events can be configured from the server so that dispatchers get alerts when a user enters a geofence or is speeding in a speed controlled area. These events can be configured to appear in multiple ways including as a pop-up, in the event history queue, in the messages queue and on the map itself.
Additionally, the ALS Server provides historic reports, route tracking and playback.
Advanced Location Services works with multiple radio technologies and protocols as well as mapping providers – including the ability to upload your own maps.
